| Edwin is an author and speaker on real estate investing. He has been a guest speaker on national radio programs and is the president of the Mississippi Real Estate Investors Association. His companies have been featured in business journals and quoted often in the associated press. His clients have purchased over 200 investment properties across the Southeast. Edwin started his investing career with a borrowed real estate course, no credit, and living upstairs in his parent's house. Within two years his company had 18 employees and was the largest investment company in the state. When the real estate meltdown began in 2007, Edwin recognized the unprecedented opportunity for investors from all over the country to buy properties at incredible discounts. | Doug is a mechanical engineer and spent 30 years in commercial construction before coming to Streetvestor. He is experienced in mechanical contracting, property renovation, site supervision, and project management. He earned the designation of Professional Engineer during his career. Doug was running his mechanical contracting firm, United Technical Service, when he was presented the opportunity to join Streetvestor. He relocated his family to Jackson, MS and took over the day to day operations of Streetvestor’s renovation department.
